AYURVEDIC ABHYANGA
Abhyanga Abhyanga is a type of massage that is accomplished using a warm oil that is used to relax your outer skin, while relaxing your inner tissues. You can opt out of the oil, but you may just appreciate the herbal oils that are used when applying a satisfying pressure to your entire body. The oil is applied to the entire body from the scalp to the soles of your feet. It has been said that it can lower your blood pressure, improve your skin health, and increase blood flow.
Per the standard custom of Ayurvedic Abhyanga, I will first apply the oil to the parts of the body that are needed to spread the oil in a uniform manner. Starting rom the top of your head, I will massage the oil into your scalp, moving in circular motions, taking it down to your forehead, ears, cheeks, and jaws, and down to your chest and abdomen, moving in clockwise and circular strokes as done by the professionals that I have researched for many years. Then, we’ll get to your body’s central core, massage inward along your ribs, eventually massaging your entire body all the way down to the soles of your feet.
Ayurvedic Abhyanga is a method that is used for overall health. If you are interested in booking a session, just reach out to me and I will guide you through the process.
